This familiar Appalachian melody was found in an old hidden shaker hymnal and brought to life in Aaron Copeland’s most famous work. Santorella Publications has brought this melody to life in this majestic arrangement for alto saxophone & piano by Jonathon Robbins. Originally written by Elder Joseph Bracket to give thanks and praise for the “Simple Gifts” we all possess. We must all learn to appreciate the “little things” and be true to one another.
