The Kingdom Of God (In No Strange Land)

This octavo was commissioned for the American Guild of Organists' 2008 national convention, giving it great visibility with a large number of church musicians and choral directors. Its text comes from late-nineteenth century English poet Francis Thompson. Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Steven Stucky has transformed this poem into a majestic, sacred choral arranged for mixed choir, with piano acco mpaniment for rehearsal only.
