The song was originally with Italian lyrics, recorded by Tony Renis and Emilio Pericoli in 1962. American entertainer Pat Boone recorded the song the same year, with English lyrics; “Tell Me When Will You Be Mine”. The song is one of the best-selling singles of all time. It has been used by many artists and in many different arrangements, including Engelbert Humperdinck in 1968, Connie Francis in 1963, Michael Bublé in 2005.
